Dr. Dacen DeLaPaz, D.D.S.

Dr. Dacen DeLaPaz has been practicing dentistry in Central Texas since 1987. He attended the University of North Texas for his undergraduate degree prior to Baylor College of Dentistry, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. He then completed a year long proctorship in implant restorations.

Dr. DeLaPaz is a member of the Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association and the Central Texas Dental Society (past president). He has been an Invisalign® provider since 2003 and continuously strives to stay on the cutting-edge of the latest advancements in the field of dentistry.

He is active in his community as a volunteer in local theatre, as well as a participant of numerous community based charitable organizations. Dr. DeLaPaz is an avid golfer. He and his wife, Annette, have been married since 1988, and they have two sons, Presley and Pierson.

Dr. Garrett Rist

Dr. Rist graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and earned his degree in Biology with a minor in Business Administration. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2020 from the University of Texas School of Dentistry in San Antonio and obtained his license that same year. Soon after, he became certified to offer clear aligner orthodontic treatment, nitrous oxide (laughing gas), and conscious sedation. His background allows him to feel comfortable seeing any patient that comes into the office. He is committed to practicing ethically and his detail to provide 5 star care allows him to excel in dentistry. Dr. Rist lives in Killeen with his two golden retrievers. In his spare time he enjoys playing basketball, golf, snowboarding, taking his dogs out, and traveling to new places.
